Brewing Happiness: Ben and Jerry’s introduces Craft Beer Ice Cream

Right before we are done with Oktobeer, Ben and Jerry’s surprises the Guzzler generation with a Beer flavoured Ice cream. Launched in collaboration with Colorado,s New Belgium Brewing Company , the Ice Cream Baron is all set to impress some craft beer lovers. The ice cream beer from Ben & Jerry’s is made with New Belgium Brown Ale ice cream and salted caramel swirls and chunks of fudge brownie, while New Belgium Brewing’s dark beer is made with notes of chocolate, salted-caramel and vanilla. The brewery is also releasing an ice-cream flavored beer called Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale.

In addition, the companies also unveiled eight recommended pairings of New Belgium beers and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream this week, as well as a “tried-and-true pour-over method” to serve them in a single dish. Can’t wait to get your hands on it? The cool thing is that a portion of the proceeds go to supporting the organization Protect Our Winters, a climate advocacy group run by people in the winter sports community.

The ice cream is already available in local Ben & Jerry’s shops, but remember it’s a seasonal flavor and will only be on sale for about four months.
