Off late we have heard of many unfortunate incidents of little children falling prey to heat strokes. This happens when they are forgotten or intentionally left in the car, to finish errands, that parents assume will take a few measly minutes. Little do they know the car can get very, very hot and unbearable on an infant often resulting in fatality. Walmart’s newly developed car seat called Evenflo Advanced SensorSafe Embrace Infant Car Seat, uses sensors, wireless technology, and an audible alarm to tackle this problem. The car seat has a strap that goes over the baby’s head and in front of its chest will include integrated technology that syncs with the wireless receiver. Basically, once the chest clip is bucked into place, it will trigger an audible alert when the car is turned off.
The alarms will work even when the phone is dead or forgotten but this car seat supports only cars made after 2008 owing to some standard OBD requirements. The Evenflo car seat will be priced at $149.88 USD.
