iRobot has released many cleaning robots till date but their latest short range mop is also their cheapest. I am talking about iRobot’s Braava Jet 240, their short range mop that’s a step down from their previous models that covered as much as 300-to-1,000 sq. ft; the Braava Jet 240 on the other hand manages only 150 to 200 square feet. For those who choose quality over quantity won’t be disheartened by this news as the Braava jet 240 may not cover a large area but whatever it covers it cleans exceptionally well. The Braava Jet 240 comes with a vibrating cleaning head to increase agitation, a water nozzle to spray the area it’s covering, and premixed detergent in its disposable pads, the Jet 240 should do a better job of scrubbing the smaller area it can reach.
This is how it works, the Jet 240 will cover your floor one quadrant at a time, row by row and for dry dusting, it’ll cover the room once with little overlap. The damp cycle covers everything twice, and wet mopping uses more water and goes over it all three time. Starting April 1, you’ll be able to purchase it from a variety of retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy, Bed Bath & Beyond and Target for $200.
