British Designer J.W.Anderson gives Diet Coke a Limited Edition Makeover

Diet Coke is stealing all attention by coming up with yet another fashion collaboration. We have witnessed a few before and they were all good, no questions asked. This time the eyeballs are focused on British designer J.W.Anderson who has been revealed as the latest Diet Coke collaborator, following in the footsteps of Moschino, Versace, Jean Paul Gaultier and Karl Lagerfeld. I personally loved Lagerfeld’s bottles that were a cool as Diet Coke itself. This time however, I have an inkling the favourite is about to get replaced as Anderson’s version looks amazing. Not only is Diet Coke heading for a limited edition makeover by launching two limited edition aluminium bottles, they are also getting us a t shirt, a tote bag and a notebook. How cool is that? While they don’t intend to foray into luxury fashion, they do aim at attracting young fashion-savvy women by creating limited edition products alongside some of the most famous names in fashion.

J.W.Andersons version comes with a ‘regret nothing’ tagline, reminding consumers to openly embrace their impulsive side. Diet Coke too has adopted this philosophy and will feature photography on the bottles for the first time, with prior designs predominantly using illustrations. A limited-edition collector’s box set – featuring JW Anderson’s Diet Coke bottles and notebook – will be available from Harvey Nichols stores nationwide from August 17.
