News is, Facebook and Uber have teamed up; at first you feel why is there a need to jumble and mix things up so much, but then you think again out of your love for Facebook and its mandatory in some ways you Like everything they do cause well, they’re the inventors of like to begin with. Anyways, this collaboration seems annoying but a few instances makes it seem like a helpful idea that you can use if you’re using Facebook messenger anyway and don’t wanna leave the conversation. For instance, say you’re using Messenger to chat with a friend who is about to get a burger at some diner, and then that friend asks you to join. Assuming of course you don’t have a car, you’ll need to hail a cab in order to meet up with your friend. Well, the latest update to Messenger makes it easier than ever.
It is as easy as just talking about grabbing a salad and then magically getting a ride to fulfil your wish. Simply tap on an address within your Messenger conversation to summon a ride from Uber and you’re ready to jet, set and go. This feature is US-only for now and good news is the first ride is free up to $20.
