The next generation Polaroid was recently launched at the CES 2016. The Snap+ is basically a souped-up version of the original Snap, but at its core will remain the same. The camera will feature a 13MP sensor and a 3.4mm f/2.8 lens. It also sports a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, Full HD video recording, Bluetooth connectivity, a selfie mirror, microSD support, and its core feature remains which is a built-in Zink printer.
The most exciting addition to the new Polaroid Snap+ is remote connectivity through Bluetooth to the Polaroid print app that will allow the camera to connect to and print from other devices such as smartphones and tablets. The app, available free for iOS and Android, will give users the ability to edit and enhance their prints with a number of creative filters, digital stickers, effects and controls.
The 2X3” photo prints in just under a minute so consumers can instantly share the photo with their friends and family. There is no word on price or availability yet.
