Too old for toys? Well, you can get a toy for Christmas this year, that would entertain you without people rolling their eyes. Meet RoBoHon, a robot phone called RoboHon, designed by renowned creator Tomotaka Takahashi. This cute little thing is an eight-inch-high robot with a 2-inch screen on the back and a camera and projector built into its face. It walks, talks, dances, and connects to LTE. RoboHon is capable of identifying people by their face or voice, and will act accordingly, telling them they have a new message or to smile for the camera. It’ll be your talkative alarm clock, memo taker and text message reader and do all sorts of Siri things.
Won’t it be cool to own a phone that can walk, sit down, get back up, dance, and raise its arms, when it’s got something to tell you? It is basically the embodiment of the idea that your phone is your best friend, and it’s going on sale in Japan from early 2016.
