Taylor Swift’s picture perfect life has got me thinking, how does she do it? If you’re following the pop star on Instagram (read: stalking her) you will be envious of her dream like life. Yes no life can be perfect without scrumptious food and going by what I see the leggy lass with a golden voice does manage to eat well and still look the way she does. Even on vacations, you will never see her out of shape, she may stuff those muffins but never will a muffin top be seen. Her mornings start on a healthy note, as Taylor puts a little more effort into her mornings, making buckwheat pancakes topped with ham, Parm, and a fried egg. Other than this Swift eats a lot of salads, yogurt, and sandwiches and avoids sugary drinks during the week.
But weekends paint a pretty picture full of calories. An overdose of comfort food, a lot of sweet tasty desserts and everything yummy is in line but health is still maintained. Instead of regular stuff Swift opts for gluten-free pizza and a glass of wine at L’asso in New York City. And you can’t keep yourself from the typical tasty touristy food when in NYC, the red-lipped beauty also indulges in baseball-size cookies from Levain Bakery. What about coffee? Of course there’s coffee on the menu, weekdays you will find her enjoying Starbucks skinny vanilla latte and weekends get better and heavier with pumpkin spice latte. What’s nice is regular people can learn not all good-lookers starve. Not all celebrities stick to coffee and cigarettes and they do enjoy baking a cake for someone special and indulging in $4 cookies from time to time. We can too can eat like Taylor swift if not earn like her. Sigh. I’ll take four more cookies.
